Captured in-water using a Canon 6D Mark II in full manual mode, this image was taken at f/5.6, 1/1500 shutter speed, and ISO 100 — a setup chosen to freeze the motion of the lip while preserving the atmosphere of the early morning mist. The composition brings the viewer into the surface itself, blurring the line between observer and wave.
